As much as you love the character, you should always keep your skills in mind. It’s pretty hard to keep a fully armed warrior alive if you’ve never made armor.

If you’ve never sat down at a sewing machine, it won’t be easy to sew these amazing clothes from Granado Espada. If you have never used resins, fiberglass or plexiglass, you may have problems. So starting with smaller projects is always recommended. Of course, it’s not impossible to perform something difficult in your first project, but keep in mind that it won’t be easy for you and the risk of failure will be higher at different costume points.
- Accept challenges!
If you really choose something challenging as your next project, so don’t forget that it takes time. You will fail in some steps, you will feel depressed and despair, you will cry for your project. In this case, start early. It takes time to redo something, find a new solution to your problem, or simply find the motivation to continue working on such a difficult project. In addition, failure can directly forward work than you spend more time and energy. When I created my first piece of armor, I also got lost many times and I wanted to give up, or just couldn’t see the chaos I had created for many days.
In addition, I have to create a huge chest armor more than three times, I tried a lot of fixed and failure of wig modelling. It all took time, and in the end I was very relieved that I started six months before the deadline.
- Bring your costume to life!
Cosplay is more than just creating and wearing a costume. Just because you wear fat thor costume doesn’t mean you’re thor.Cosplay also means bringing characters to life. I’m not a cosplayer, and I suspect most of you are not. However, I always try to give my costumes a realistic look and at least create a character look in my photos. To achieve this, we need to not only remember the character’s reference, but also think about his life.
